Cheil Benelux is looking for an ambitious and skilled Account Director to support and champion our talented and diverse teams across Amsterdam, Schiphol, and Brussels (Belgium)in bringing our creative vision to life.

The job
Cheil is looking for an Account Director who is knows how their way in leading and supporting complex but ever-fascinating projects for our biggest clients and knows how to have fun while doing so.
You will be part of the Account Team reporting to the senior account team and the Managing Director, with stakeholders working across the whole world.
The ideal candidate
Cheil is looking for anAccount Director who knows how to turn creative ambition into reality. Someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves working with big brands, and can navigate the complex world of advertising with confidence and flair. If you have a deep understanding of brand strategy, know how to build strong client relationships, and can lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional work, this one’s for you.
Key responsibilities
- Own and grow key accounts – You’ll be the main point of contact for high-profile clients, ensuring their business goals align with breakthrough creative work.
- Lead integrated campaigns – From strategy to execution, you’ll oversee every phase, making sure timelines, budgets, and creative ambitions are met.
- Drive creative excellence – Push teams to develop bold, culture-driven campaigns that leave a lasting impact.
- Manage and mentor teams – Inspire account managers and strategists to elevate their work and grow within the agency.
- Spot opportunities – Identify ways to expand business with existing clients and pitch new ideas that make them excited to invest more.
Requirements
- You have at least5+ years experience in in an agency environment (preferably at a leading creative or digital agency).
- A natural leader who can build trust with clients and guide internal teams with clarity and vision.
- A strategic thinker with a strong understanding of branding, social media, and digital marketing.
- A problem-solver who stays calm under pressure and knows how to turn challenges into opportunities.
- A culture vulture who understands what moves people and brands in today’s world.
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- You enjoy working in a dynamic and diverse environment, with like-minded colleagues
