The best online performance for top brands

As a Paid Media Consultant at VML, you will work directly for leading brands and help them get the best results from their paid media campaigns. You'll operate on three levels; strategic, tactical, and knowledge transfer.

Strategic; you decide how the different paid solutions can be used to get the best results for your client. You determine the right KPIs, and budget attribution and understand the relationship between the different paid, owned, and earned channels. You use the available data science capacity to deploy campaigns as smartly as possible.

Tactical;you ensure that campaigns are implemented, optimized, and automated. You challenge your colleagues on their choices and you're not afraid to get your hands dirty and work on the campaigns yourself.

Knowledge transfer; you can transfer your capabilities both internally and to the clients so that they can eventually take control of their campaigns.

Our Paid Marketing team is an ambitious group of experts who strive to be the best in their field. With our data-driven and customer-focused mindset, we help clients gain the most out of their technology, data, and media budget to influence both online as well as offline sales.

Instead of focusing on the channels individually, we work in multidisciplinary teams. We connect both brand and performance marketing efforts, strongly enhanced by smart automation and data solutions. Unlike most media agencies we rather work with our clients in hybrid teams and are eager to transfer our capabilities to them, to ensure sustainable results.

Our way of working is pragmatic, and result-driven and gains the trust of the client, so they see us as an important sparring partner. Within our teams, we coach toward results, quality, constant learning, and fun.

Qualifications

  • A completed HBO/WO education and at least 4 years of experience with Paid Media
  • Demonstrable, hands-on experience in the field of Paid Search and/or Paid Social
  • Hands-on experience with 3rd party technology, preferably the Google Marketing Platform (SA360), Smartly or Skai
  • Knowledge of Digital Media, Programmatic Display & Video, Affiliate Marketing
  • Experience across different verticals preferably retail, commerce & B2B
  • Experience working at or for large clients, with large budgets and projects
  • Excellent communication and consultancy skills
  • Analytical thinking skills and experience with a data-driven approach
  • Fluent speaking and writing skills in Dutch and English
