[Vacancy] Dentsu Creative Amsterdam has a position for Experience Designer (AI)

Dentsu Creative Amsterdam is directly looking for:

Experience Designer (AI) - Full-time · Amsterdam

Your role

As an Experience Designer fluent in AI, you will shape digital journeys from early exploration to polished interfaces. You’ll work inside our client's Experience Team while staying part of Dentsu Creative, giving you the best of both worlds: hands-on product work and an agency community for support and inspiration.

You’ll split your time between the client’s office for 2 days a week and our Dentsu Creative office for 1 to 2 days a week. The setup is flexible and designed to help you stay close to the teams you collaborate with.

You bring an experimentation mindset, using AI as a creative partner to explore directions faster, prototype smarter, and raise the overall quality of the work.

What you will be doing

  • Designing flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces across web, app, TV, and CRM tools
  • Using AI tools like Copilot and Figma Make to explore ideas, speed up prototyping, and support research, with freedom to experiment and introduce new tools
  • Collaborating with Service Design, Product, Development, and Copywriting to shape clear, user-centered journeys
  • Applying and extending the design system using Figma and Frontify
  • Iterating based on user feedback, data, and continuous testing

Your profile

  • Experience as a UX or Experience Designer, ideally in product or platform teams, on a mid-weight to senior level
  • Strong understanding of interaction and visual design principles
  • Confident working from discovery to delivery: flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI
  • Comfortable in multidisciplinary teams and open to critique and collaboration
  • Care about usability, accessibility, and polished execution
  • Able to operate independently inside a client team while staying connected to Dentsu Creative
  • Strong communication skills; confident in English and Dutch is a plus
  • Based in or willing to relocate to the Netherlands (near Amsterdam)

Bonus points

  • Background in telecom, utilities, finance, or other service-rich environments
  • Experience working with design systems at scale
  • Interest in AI tooling, automation, or low-code/no-code workflows

Why this role

  • Work on (new) services and products used by millions of people, influencing KPIs, product decisions, accessibility, and usability improvements
  • Be part of multidisciplinary teams where research, design, product, and tech work closely together
  • Stay connected to Dentsu Creative’s design community through mentorship, open knowledge-sharing, and quarterly inspiration sessions exploring new tools, methods, and ways of working
  • Enjoy a flexible hybrid setup between the client’s Sloterdijk office and our Dentsu Creative Houthavens office
