Dentsu Creative Amsterdam is directly looking for:

Creative Strategist - Full-time · Amsterdam

At Dentsu Creative Amsterdam we're looking for a Creative Strategist to join our team.

Strategy is the consciousness of our agency. We believe great insights can come from anywhere, from research and data to pop culture and psychology. We’re building a diverse strategy department to reflect our boundless curiosity. So we are constantly looking for fresh minds, capable of inspiring creatives and designers, and helping set the strategic direction for our clients.

About the job

Currently, we are looking for a creative strategist who will:

  • Uncover original human insights through consumer safaris, video interviews, data analysis and other research means.
  • Use these insights to wow clients, creatives and other agency peers.
  • Develop effective communication strategies.
  • Translate business objectives into real-world tactics.
  • Challenge all strategists with in-depth knowledge of changing consumer behaviour. Push them to be more in the now and in the know of what is happening.
  • Take an active role during creative development, expanding first creative ideas into elaborate campaign plans.
  • Educate agency peers about relevant new communication and consumer behaviour developments.
  • Work dedicated on a (set of) client(s) to develop a deep understanding of their business, ambitions and challenges.

About you

As an agency that highly values diversity, curiosity and collaboration, we are open to people from different professional and educational backgrounds. However, the ideal person for this role would at least fit the following criteria:

  • Creatives value you as a source of advice and inspiration.
  • Detail-oriented, good follow-through, able to multitask, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are comfortable with a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • You are passionate about creating awesome creative work.
  • You are driven by curiosity and open-mindedness, and like to contribute to multidisciplinary, non-hierarchical teams.
  • You are proficient in Dutch, English and Slides. Other languages are a pre.
  • Your colleagues admire you for being straightforward, constructive and professional.
  • You take ownership of projects while seeing collaboration and sparring as a way to sharpen the work and grow.

Apply for the job

If you feel this might be you and you have roughly 3+ years of professional experience, we are looking forward to meet you. Please say hi! Apply here.
