Medior Strategist / Strategy Manager - (Hybrid | Amsterdam)

Cheil Benelux is growing, and we’re looking for a sharp, culturally aware Strategist to join our team in Amsterdam. Someone who can turn data into direction, and insights into ideas that move people.

You’ll work primarily on Philips, helping shape global brand and campaign strategies, but you’ll also have the chance to stretch your thinking on Samsung, Basic-Fit and Nongshim.

The role

As a Strategy Manager, you’ll own projects independently and work as the strategic link between creativity, data, and the client’s business. You’ll collaborate closely with a Strategy Director: shaping the strategic direction together and ensuring consistency and excellence across all work.

You’ll dive deep into culture, consumer behaviour, and category dynamics, and help transform this knowledge into powerful brand platforms and creative briefs that drive impact across the full 360 ecosystem.

What you’ll do

  • Lead day-to-day strategy on key campaigns and projects.
  • Translate research and data into sharp insights and clear creative directions.
  • Write inspiring creative briefs and support the development of integrated campaigns.
  • Work closely with a Strategy Director to build and deliver brand and communication strategies.
  • Collaborate with creative, account, and production teams to ensure work is both strategically sound and creatively ambitious.
  • Contribute to new business pitches and internal thought leadership projects.
  • Present your thinking confidently to clients and internal teams.

What we’re looking for

  • 4–6 years of experience in brand, communication or creative strategy.
  • A strategic thinker who combines analytical depth with creative curiosity.
  • Solid understanding of brand building and integrated communications.
  • Comfortable working with research tools and audience data.
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, collaborative, and culturally engaged: someone who loves connecting the dots between brand, people, and culture.
