The job

Cheil is seeking a Creative Designer with a love for Motion, who can help breathe life into the ideas and productions coming out of our Amsterdam office. Working on a creative floor made up of studio designers, production experts and advertising creatives, this position will be part of the design team while also lending their skills and ideas to the creative team when/as required; managing a strong cross-sectional relationship with their Head of Studio and Creative Directors alike!

The ideal candidate (i.e. You)

If design, illustration, and animation is your jam, then we're looking for you!

Cheil needs someone in this role to be able to visualize ideas, create brand identities and campaign styles, while expertly navigating After Effects and relevant editing software… In other words: we want someone who knows how to make ideas look great.

The ideal candidate prioritizes creativity and collaboration, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience at either an advertising and/or design agency. They will know how advertising agencies operate and are brave enough to pitch ideas to both internal and external stakeholders (clients) alike, with the goal of trying to elevate any projects or concepts that cross their path.

Key responsibilities:

• Ensuring top-notch crafting and execution of production design ideas by collaborating with creative teams
• Collaborate with your colleagues in the craft studio and video production hub; helping where you can and always inspiring each
• Contributing your design, illustration and animation expertise to the creative ideation process, helping the team(s) elevate and streamline relevant projects with your skills

Requirements:

• Profound expertise in motion design, illustration, and graphic design, demonstrated through a compelling portfolio that showcases the ability to “bring concepts to life”.
• 3-5 years’ experience at relevant advertising and/or design agencies
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects and Premiere Pro
• A proven track record working across teams to provide hands-on support with delivering design/motion graphic campaigns for top-tier
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Animation or related field (preferred but not required)
• Fluent in Dutch is useful but not necessary.
