About the role:

The Senior Client Solutions Manager (Sr. CSM) is a high-impact, strategic role that requires a deep understanding of digital video advertising, client relationship management, and campaign performance optimization. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and leadership abilities.

As a Sr. CSM, you will take ownership of high-value client accounts, drive campaign excellence, and collaborate with internal teams to improve operational efficiency. You will also play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, enhancing client engagement, and optimizing digital media strategies.

In addition to managing clients, the Sr. CSM will act as a mentor and leader, helping to develop and support Junior and Mid-Level Client Solutions Managers.This position is ideal for someone who is looking to take on a leadership role while staying deeply involved in campaign strategy and execution.

Key responsibilities:

Client Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, managing relationships and delivering exceptional service.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive retention, growth, and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to expand client investment through upsells, cross-sells, and renewals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing insights and recommendations to enhance client campaign performance.

Campaign Oversight & Optimization

  • Oversee the full campaign lifecycle, from initial strategy development to execution and reporting.
  • Proactively monitor campaign pacing, performance, and optimization opportunities to ensure goals are met.
  • Lead internal and external pre-campaign kick-off meetings, setting clear expectations and success metrics.
  • Provide in-depth post-campaign analysis, identifying key takeaways and future improvements.

Data Analysis & Performance Improvement

  • Utilize advanced data analytics to identify trends, improve campaign strategies, and drive efficiency.
  • Work closely with Sales, Ad Operations, and Product teams to optimize campaign delivery.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to support budget forecasting, pricing models, and performance benchmarking.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

  • Support and mentor Junior and Mid-Level Client Solutions Managers, sharing best practices and industry knowledge.
  • Help define and refine internal processes to improve workflow efficiency.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellence in client management and campaign execution.

Required skills & qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media (YouTube or Social Media is a must)
  • >1 year in a leadership or senior-level role mentoring and coaching junior members to foster a high-performing culture.
  • Proven track record of managing high-profile client accounts and driving revenue growth.
  • Expertise in YouTube advertising, programmatic media, and digital video platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex campaign issues and provide strategic solutions.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, forecasting, and data visualization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
  • Google Ads or YouTube certification is a plus.
