Senior Creative - Amsterdam
Who are we?
At Boomerang, we make ideas that travel. We work for (international) clients who expect concepts that cut through; across channels, cultures and contexts. And we’re looking for a Senior Creative who can help us do exactly that.
You’re a strong concepting creative with a track record of ideas that work. You don’t need to have all the answers yet, but you know how to find them. As a Senior Creative you are responsible, either independently or as part of a team, for translating briefings and strategies into concepts and 360 campaigns. You can both inspire and help guide a team in the right direction, while also being an active and hands on part of delivering strong work.
Goal of the position
Your output should contain big ideas, newsworthy activations, social content, video concepts and more, all connecting to a strong insightful idea. Next to that, you’ll be involved in overseeing the process and reviewing ideas, from social videos to visually striking imagery. You will report to a Creative Director or Executive Creative Director who is hands-on and genuinely invested in your growth.
What you’ll do
- Develop original, award worthy concepts and 360 campaigns, from strategic brief to final output
- Translate strategies into big ideas: social, video, activations and beyond
- Take ownership of art direction or copy, and ideally have a feel for both
- Keep quality high across multiple clients and deadlines
- Lead or actively contribute to brainstorms, kick offs and creative reviews
- Collaborate closely with strategy, account and project management
- Contribute to pitches, and help grow client relationships through the quality of the work
- Give feedback that makes ideas stronger, and be open to receiving it too
What you bring
- Around 5+ years of experience in a creative agency, with a strong portfolio of conceptual work
- Experience working on international briefs or clients is a plus
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a creative team
- A sharp eye for what makes an idea visually striking or copy-driven, and what makes it both
- Comfort presenting and defending ideas to clients and internal stakeholders
- Fluency in English, Dutch is a bonus
